Building the Infrastructure for Patient-Centered Care Intelligence
Our Mission
Ventralink is a healthcare technology company on a mission to solve one of healthcare's most persistent problems: fragmented, inaccurate medication information.
We believe the solution isn't connecting more systems together—it's empowering patients to be the source of truth for their own care. Our platform makes it easy for patients to maintain accurate medication lists while giving providers the visibility they need to coordinate care effectively.
Why We Started Ventralink
Healthcare professionals know the frustration: a patient arrives and can't tell you what medications they take. Maybe they remember some names but not doses. Maybe they can describe what a pill looks like but not what it's called. More often than not, patients simply don't have access to their own medication information when they need it most.
But it's not just frustrating—it's dangerous. We've seen patients hospitalized for a GI bleed, their blood thinner appropriately stopped, only to be back in the ICU weeks later with a life-threatening gastrointestinal bleed because the prescription auto-refilled and no one told them to stop taking it. Patients treated for kidney failure, diuretics stopped, who end up right back in the hospital because their outside pharmacy kept dispensing the medication they no longer should have been taking. These stories repeat in different forms every day, and they're preventable.
We founded Ventralink because we experienced these gaps firsthand and knew there had to be a better way. The insight was simple: patients are the only constant across the fragmented healthcare system. They know what they actually take. They know when they visit the ER.
We have built the technology to capture that intelligence and put it to work.
